About the Digital Media Specialist position

The Digital Media Specialist will lead our marketing efforts using new media and digital tools.

If you can efficiently and creatively handle various online marketing tools, including websites, podcasts and blogs, this position is for you. You will work with a variety of teams to coordinate our marketing, advertising and promotional activities.Your goal is to increase client engagement and promote our company.

Digital Media Specialist responsibilities are:

  • Design digital media campaigns that align with the goals of our business

  • Coordinate and support the creation of digital content in various forms (e.g. website, blogs, press releases and podcasts)

  • Manage digital projects end-to-end

  • Establish our web presence and boost brand awareness by doing so

  • Maintain a strong online company voice through social media

  • Communicate effectively with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams in ensuring brand consistency

  • Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability

  • Monitor ROI and KPIs

  • Stay up-to-date with digital media developments

Digital Media Specialist requirements are:

  • Proven work experience as a Digital media specialist or Digital marketing manager or comparable role

  • Skillful knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity and/or other media editing software

  • Experience with visual communication principles

  • Familiarity with content management systems

  • Familiarity with web design and principals

  • Outstanding analytical and project management skills

  • Be able to multitask and work under tight deadlines

  • Your verbal and written communication skills should be very strong.

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field

  • Additional qualification in web design or animation is desireable.
